Created by Gerald Waldo Luis (talk) and Jeromi Mikhael (talk). Nominated by Jeromi Mikhael (talk) at 03:00, 22 August 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Suggestion: I'd rather have it
ALT1: ... that a video of a man doing nothing for two hours went viral internationally? GeraldWL 03:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gerald Waldo Luis: The shorter, the catchier, as long as it is a fact, is better. 🙂 Jeromi Mikhael (talk) 03:24, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt that's gonna be the case here. Assume I don't know the video. Who is Didit? Why should I know that he did nothing for 2h? What should I know? GeraldWL 03:29, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
How about this as an April Fools' hook? SD0001 (talk) 09:12, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
ALT2: ... that an Indonesian man once did nothing for two hours?
SD0001, That could be okay considering "April fools," but when does it take place? April 1? GeraldWL 16:14, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
May I ask if this is formally reviewed? VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 10:45, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vincent60030, what do you mean by "formally reviewed"? GeraldWL 10:51, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Gerald Waldo Luis, did you know nominations are supposed to be reviewed. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 10:53, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vincent60030, for start I thought you're talking about curation. Mind explaining for someone new to DYK? Tried understanding WP:DYK's words but I am unable to. GeraldWL 10:57, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'll go ahead with a review since these were initial comments. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 11:09, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May I ask what is this in the prose? "Didit stated that he is willing to go to the toilet badly, but stated that he feared his parents calling him more, that "If I don’t answer them, I’ll get into trouble."" This does not make any sense to me VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 11:41, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article is currently short of the prose size. I'll give the chance for Gerald Waldo Luis and Jeromi Mikhael to expand the article. It also needs a copyedit. ALT1 is the preferred hook. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 11:51, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vincent60030, resolved the confusion, and have added more info about its adaptation to a mobile game, as well as some more stuff. Did a brief count; it could probably be eligible for DYK now (as I remember DYKs are 1500 characters). GeraldWL 12:55, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I made a minor change, but this article still needs a heavy copyedit. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 15:45, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vincent60030 Is the article good now? Regards, Jeromi Mikhael (marhata) 09:57, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Made a thorough check on sources and the prose is much better now. However, I find an alternate hook about a man counting the number of blinks more interesting. Can you propose it please? @Jeromi Mikhael: @Gerald Waldo Luis: and I'm sorry but the hook is not really quirky for April 1. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 10:24, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vincent60030, it could be ALT3: ... that in a viral video of a man doing nothing for two hours, a viewer counted him blinking at a whopping 362 times?
What do you think? GeraldWL 10:37, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
minor grammatical errors (note for the promoter), but otherwise it’s all good to go with ALT3. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 10:46, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gerald Waldo Luis, just pointing out that in this edit, you dropped the nomination page provided by the DYKbot, which I have readded, here. It is confusing because the DYKbot calls it nompage, while articlehistory calls it DYKnom. Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:22, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
