– "WNBA" is a proper name but the "playoffs" is more of a generic term, similar to the naming conventions of "NBA playoffs" and "NFL playoffs". In addition, the main article is named "WNBA playoffs", not "WNBA Playoffs". MarcusAbacus (talk) 01:21, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    No difference in meaning to readers seeing "WNBA playoffs" vs, "WNBA Playoffs", unlike actual proper nouns such as Super Bowl (vs "super bowl").—Bagumba (talk) 07:28, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
