The Georgia Bureau Of Investigation has reported that the shooter was identified as 14-year-old Colt Gray (born 2009 or 2010). We don't know any information about Colt's life at this time rather than he was a student at the school, a possible local resident, and possibly diagnosed with autism. 2600:1702:5225:C010:B9A9:3F22:8DF9:D089 (talk) 20:39, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't wikipedia wait until there's an official mugshot? There's been so much misinformation form him being black to trans etc that Its hard to believe who he is anymore? Just a suggestion Kmart Wifi (talk) 02:33, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No responses of presumed advocates of gun control are described as being criticized. Either remove reports of criticism, or report criticism in a non-biased manner. HillbillyWoman (talk) 03:28, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If there is in fact significant bidirectional criticism, please find reliable sources stating as much. The inclusion of criticism of gun policies does not violate WP:NPOV.
Colin told officers in the 2023 interview in Jefferson that his son was often picked on by bullies who’d touch him, pinch him and taunt him, even at times called him "gay" adding that Colt’s bullies “ridiculed him day after day.” There's new troubling information about the Gray family saying that the family had a history of brief separations. Exactly a year prior to the shooting, the teen’s younger siblings immediately moved to live with Marcee in Fitzgerald while Colt stayed under the care of Colin in Bethlehem near Winder. Marcee said "If I could take their place, I would." A relative says that Marcee warned the school on the extreme emergency. 2600:1702:5225:C010:B13F:7A8D:FE0B:544B (talk) 03:21, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
