Consistency/Standardisation?
[edit]I'm new to editing and was wondering if there is a reason why there is so little consistency or standardisation between these season pages? They all give ostensibly exactly the same sort of information and yet almost no two pages are formatted even close to same way; I'm guessing it's simply because there is no universally agreed upon "best format"? I think the current format looks really nice and I was glad to see that this current season matches the last, but it's a shame that consistency doesn't stretch any further back. - Yes, it does seem to evolve from season-to-season. Policies at WP:Football change regularly, so it's hard to keep track. For example, there was a date-of-birth template that people were using which gave players' ages, but it was tied to the current year, so if you looked at the article in 10 years' time, you'd see some 40+-year-old players in the squad. - Seasider53 (talk) 05:10, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
