Map width
[edit]Please stop making the maps 1200px wide, which is far too large for viewing. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:21, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
- @RainbowSilver2ndBackup: Please stop making the images way too large for most readers to view properly. And please stop removing the "prose" tags. There should be writing about the torch relay and route, not just maps. ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:42, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
Article in present state is a disgrace!
[edit]When editing for Olympic articles I have seen some things in my time over the years, i’ve seen the wrong fax button I have seen incorrect metal places however one thing I have always liked when editing Olympics related articles is that they are always full of information and are very informative. This supposed article on the 2018 torch relay with a month to go til the games begin with two oversized maps and incomplete visit list is nothing short of a compete disgrace and is the worst I have ever come across, there is no information about the touch, the relay other than its route in the most basic of forms or the individual places and attractions it has so far visited and no information on any notable runners and there is not even a single image. It needs some very serious attention if it is to reach any form of standard. (MOTORAL1987 (talk) 10:26, 23 January 2018 (UTC))
- I agree. And I've tried reducing the map sizes more times than I can count, but someone keeps making them oversized. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:43, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
- If something does not get done I might even suggest given its current form nominate this article for deletion (I know it wouldn’t pass) but it might just put the wind on whoever is preventing us from trying to sort this article out? (94.13.36.56 (talk) 19:55, 23 January 2018 (UTC))
- No, please do not nominate an article for deletion just for the sake of trying to encourage activity. This is not the purpose of articles for deletion, and the subject is obviously notable. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:02, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
- Fair enough I won’t do that and I wasn’t being very serious, I just hope we can sort this out so we can have a half decent article. (2A02:C7F:5621:2A00:5543:8022:3B64:68AF (talk) 21:57, 23 January 2018 (UTC))
- No worries, I just didn't want to waste editors' time over at AfD. Hopefully the article will receive a lot more traffic and improvement during the next few weeks. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
