thanks(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk))
First, the tables doesn't have the appearance of the tables of previous season. Second, adding the table now will require constant updates. Doing so later on will save much of the work. And third, there was no source provided. Human (talk) 05:06, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
@A Simple Human: Before deleting those tables, you should first discus it on my talk page. You did not do that. You have no reason to remove those tables.these tables are necessary(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 05:28, 12 January 2019 (UTC))
I know they are. First, read what I wrote above. I have discussed about it in my talk page already. No need to discuss it again somewhere else. Human (talk) 05:39, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
@A Simple Human: Firstly I spent 1:30 hours for statics, you remove them under seconds without any note.i did a good job for that article.all calculation are already in article.so these tables should be updated within every match.so it's my responsibility for updating those tables in articles if you not want to do(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 06:44, 12 January 2019 (UTC))
You don't need to spend 1:30 hours. Just copy paste the table. And not all calculations are there. The Scorecards include only the highest runscorer and highest wickettaker in each match. So as a rule you should provide a source. And finally this is not IPL so don't try to make it like one. Human (talk) 06:50, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
@A Simple Human: I'm ready for providing a source,so restore the tables(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 06:53, 12 January 2019 (UTC))
Not the one you provided follow the previous year's table. Don't add the highest score aggregate. Human (talk) 07:00, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
@A Simple Human: just restore them, then we will make changes(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 07:04, 12 January 2019 (UTC))
- Note that this issue has also been raised at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cricket. My view is that the tables you currently have on the article page are essentially copied directly from CricInfo, but are older, out of date versions. Wouldn't it be much simpler to provide external links to those - and perhaps note any significant statistical achievements during the season in prose? Then at the end of the season a short prose summary and simpler tables can be used? The ones on this talk page strike me as far too complex - and if the tables you include simply copy from CricInfo then I have worries about plagiarism and NOTSTATS.
- If you're looking to draw my attention to any messages on this page a ping is required - I will not read this page otherwise. Thank you. Blue Square Thing (talk) 09:02, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
@A Simple Human: I want to give a suggestion to you, next time when you remove 1000+ text bytes first you have to talk to person who has added bytes.i hope you understand my Points.dont delete bytes directly(Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk))

2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League → 2019 Bangladesh Premier League – The tournament took place entirely in 2019 (from 5 January 2019 to 8 February 2019). Naming it the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League is misleading since it implies the event spanned two years. The proposed name, 2019 Bangladesh Premier League, is more accurate and consistent with how single-year tournaments are typically named. RAIHAN ⚡ Got something to say? 15:00, 23 January 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. TiggerJay (talk) 16:31, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose proposal makes sense but sources call it 2018-19, and we go by the sources. SportingFlyer T·C 05:12, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Support: WP:CONSISTENT with other cricket tournaments, page should be named by the year it held, not the cricket season. Same for other BPL editions as well. Vestrian24Bio 11:47, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- Weak oppose whilst it was held only in 2019, the sources use 2018-19 as the WP:COMMONNAME. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:03, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Relisting for more discussion. Currently seems to be discussion without any clear consensus forming...yet... TiggerJay (talk) 16:31, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose – this was part of the 2018–19 Bangladesh season. I'd also have some concerns that there is the potential for confusion with the 2019–20 season, which started in 2019. There were two BPL seasons that started in the same year, one in the 2018–19 season, the other in the 2019–20 season. There's some value in ensuring we don't get the two things confused I think. Of course, pragmatically this is likely to be re-proprosed on a regular basis, or even just moved, so there are some arguments for agreeing to it now. If anyone were to put forward that pragmatic argument I might tend to agree to it (e2a: I note that it's already been changed to 2019 in the navigation box under the infobox on the Bangladesh Premier League article).
