I tried to delete much of the killer's background info, but Wikipedia won't let me. I don't think someone who murders police officers deserves half of a Wikipedia article to their name, good or bad. We shouldn't care about what this scum bag's daughters think of him, for instance. This article should focus on the officers killed, not the guy who killed them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.217.203.132 (talk • contribs)

The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus is that mass moving all these without consideration of the specifics of the incidents within seems to be inappropriate. (closed by non-admin page mover) — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 00:09, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose treating these as a group. For some of these, such as 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers, the move wouldn't be accurate because some of them were shot and injured but not killed. There's also guideline info at WP:DEATHS which may help here w/re murder vs. killing. The reason for moving the article here, for instance, is that both officers involved were killed (not simply shot) and there was a conviction for murder. For some of these articles there may also be WP:common name to consider. I don't think we can consider these as a group. We need to discuss each one individually to determine the correct location. valereee (talk) 14:42, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
