- Makes sense, it's obviously pertinent to the category. When do measures actually go into effect, though? I recall hearing 30 days, but that's just scuttlebutt. Obviously the consumer effects are later, but the measure lays a lot of groundwork and has some tax-related issues that presumably must have a defined start date.
