2002 in East Timor2002 in Timor-Leste – This is the year that the modern country was established. Should we refer to the old name as an Indonesian province, or to the new name? –LaundryPizza03 (d) 22:06, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Fayenatic london: hi! May I kindly ask you please undo your move of this article, purely as a procedural matter? WP:RMCI and the usual RM procedures say that RM discussions should be open for seven days and not moved until closure. You can, of course, comment on @LaundryPizza03 here.
@Closer: I don't know enough to have an opinion on this move. I note related some categories have been speedily moved, while others seem to be contested at the speedy categories move requests board. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 11:26, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rename; we generally use the name at the end of the period covered by an article/category etc. – Fayenatic London 11:33, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, it happens! Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 13:30, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
