Split?

[edit]

Some users were talking about splitting the Southern hemisphere seasons back to a certain date into 2 or even 3 basins. Given that this article has info on every storm, this could be a good test article to see how it could work. Thoughts? Hurricanehink (talk) 14:06, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Go right ahead. íslenskur fellibylur #12 (samtal) 00:41, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am concerned that, while your suggestion is made in good faith, that because you're relatively new here you may encounter some kind of problem or make an accidental error doing a split, and I would much prefer someone with more knowledge of wiki to do it. – Chacor 02:53, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Strike that, I'll do it myself, to save any hassle. I hope you don't mind, and thanks for offering to do it. – Chacor 02:56, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:1999–2000 Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclone season/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The page should perhaps use {{infobox hurricane small}}, as there are storm tracks and pictures for most storms, as well as expand the Hudah section (or make it its own article). Titoxd(?!?) 22:57, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
