Several web pages claim that May Chen led or helped lead the strike, but according to other, seemingly more reliable, sources ([1][2][3]), Chen was working for a different NYC union at the time, and didn't join the ILGWU until 1983. Chen has talked and written about the strike, but that doesn't mean she led it. MopTop (talk) 04:12, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
