Text and/or other creative content from 1940–49 Pacific typhoon seasons was copied or moved into 1947 Pacific typhoon season. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

Merge proposal

The merge proposal is for this article and 1949 (and 3 others) to be merged into "1945-49 Pacific typhoon seasons".--Nilfanion (talk) 08:39, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't merge - It was removed as there is no reason for it to be merged with the '49 Season as the seasons can stay there just like the dates where almost no events happened. They are necessary but will never reach big size though they can get decent enough to merit FA status or A-Class. Lincher 17:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
