Madai Thiranthu → 1945 (2021 film) – The film was announced by this name by the director as shown here and here. This title (1945) has a trailer as well. The Tamil version Madai Thiranthu is not releasing anytime soon, so the current name is confusing. The Telugu version 1945 is releasing on December 31 2021 as shown here. - Support: Similar to Endukante... Premanta!, mention Telugu only in the infobox and that the Tamil version never released. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:34, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom's rationale. However, move to 1945 (2022 film) now that its moved to January 7. -- Ab207 (talk) 07:01, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]@Ab207: Does the Telugu CBFC certificate say that the film is straight? DareshMohan (talk) 11:45, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- DareshMohan Yep, it's straight.
- So I'm looking at CBFC website on how they process dubbed movies. Found two things:
- 1. FAQ#12: Dubbed films are certified from the original regional office only (typically the home city of the industry).
- Except the Hindi dub which is done in Mumbai (RRR got an exception to this exception, Hindi dub was certified in Hyderabad itself).
- 2. Point#5: Dubbed films generally won't get any fresh certification, it's the same as the original. Since bilinguals have different visuals, I guess they must obtain a fresh certification. -- Ab207 (talk) 12:44, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
