Proper use of parentheses
[edit]Actually, once an object receives it's formal number, parentheses go around the date designation, not the number. CFLeon 23:27, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- You're plainly wrong on that count (assuming you mean "provisional designation" when you say "date designation").

Largest nameless object
[edit]Is this the largest un-named object in the solar system? That appears to be the case from our List of Solar System objects by mass. Is it worth mentioning in the article? DenisMoskowitz (talk) 19:40, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- The mass of this object is assumed, based on an assumed density of 2.0. I would not call it the largest nameless object because many known objects will likely turn out to be larger. I would prefer to call it one of the most massive unnamed objects. -- Kheider (talk) 14:52, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
