"Highest between Sudetes and the Ural mountains"

[edit]

In what sense? The HCM are rather low, with tallest peak under 1000 m. It is true that they are the highest elevation between the Sudetes/Carpathians mountainous region and Ural. However, within the Sudetes/Carpathians mountainous region, Carpathians are both much higher than Sudetes and further to the East. This actually makes Carpathians the highest mountains between Sudetes and Ural, higher than either in fact, and I'm saying this as a Sudetes patriot ;) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.47.121.189 (talk) 23:11, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That claim is completely bogus, irrelevant and the citation quotes a random forum – unreliable source. While not making any directional sense either, as you note. It's not even mentioned in the Polish version of the article, as far as I can tell.
Removing. Anybody who still feels it belongs there, please give a proper reliable citation source and explanation. Technicality nitpicker (talk) 20:24, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
