The Staff Department of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force (中国人民解放军陆军参谋部) is a major functional office of the PLAGF in charge of the main staff work of the Service. It is a Theater Deputy-grade unit, and it is based in Beijing.
History
[edit]The PLAGF General Staff Department was set up in December 2015 as part of the 2015 military reforms, in a bid to improve the staff direction and guidance.for unit construction.[1] Its first chief of staff was Liu Zhenli (刘振立).[2]
