Scribe is a SaaS company that provides business process documentation software.
Overview
[edit]Scribe was founded in 2019 by Jennifer Smith (entrepreneur) and Aaron Podolny.[1][2] The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Scribe's platform allows businesses to create and share process documentation. It allows users to create and share step-by-step guides by capturing on-screen actions, such as clicks and keystrokes, which are then converted into written instructions and annotated screenshots.[3][4][5][6][7]
In 2021, Scribe raised a total of $30 million in its seed and, Series A funding round which was led by Tiger Global Management.[8][9][10]
In February 2024, Scribe secured $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Redpoint Ventures.[11][12][13][14][15][16][excessive citations]
In May 2023, Scribe launched its AI tool, which uses generative AI to automate the creation of process documentation.[17][excessive citations]
