Jennifer Renee Smith is an American tech entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and CEO of the SaaS company Scribe.[1][2][3][4]

Smith was born in Upstate New York as the older of two children in an immigrant family. She attended Pittsford-Mendon High School in the 1990s. She later graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a degree in economics and a certificate in finance. Smith received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2015.

In 2008, she joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. Smith left McKinsey in 2014.

She co-founded Scribe in July 2019 with Aaron Podolny, a serial entrepreneur who sold his last company, Onward AI, to Google in 2018.[5][6][7][8]

Smith lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, with her family.
