Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers (Korean: 독수리 오형제를 부탁해) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Uhm Ji-won, Ahn Jae-wook, Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-chul, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, Lee Seok-gi, and Yoo In-young. The series is about the five unique brothers of the long-standing Eagle Brewery and the eldest sister-in-law who becomes the head of the household after her husband's sudden death just ten days after getting married. It is scheduled to premiere on KBS2 in February 2025.[1]
Synopsis
[edit]The series unfolds as the five brothers, each with their own stories, gather in one house centered around Ma Gwang-sook.

[edit]- Uhm Ji-won as Ma Gwang-sook[1]
- A post office counter manager who went from being a gold miss to a widow. She is a cheerful and lively character who throws fastballs regardless of time and place. Gwang-sook, who was a gold miss until she was 45, meets Oh Jang-soo, the CEO of Eagle Brewery, and they get married, but soon after, her husband Jang-soo gets into an unexpected accident and becomes a widow.

- The chairman of LX Hotel. He is a prickly and arrogant character who clearly distinguishes between right and wrong and likes and dislikes, to the point that he is called the 'Prince Hedgehog'. Having lost his wife 15 years ago, he lives a life where loneliness has become his daily routine, and then he becomes entangled with Kwang-sook.

[edit]Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers is a family drama written by Goo Hyun-sook, directed by Choi Sang-yeol, and produced by DK E&M.[1]
On September 19, 2024, Yoon Park, who had been offered, has decided to appear.[5] On October 11, Uhm Ji-won was reportedly positively considering.[6] On October 25, Kim Dong-wan is reported to appear.[7] On December 16, Uhm and Ahn Jae-wook were reportedly confirmed their casting.[1] According to Xports News on the same day, Yoo In-young has been cast as the lead.[8] The next day, Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-chul, Kim, Yoon, and Lee Seok-gi were revealed as the lineup of the five brothers.[2] On the following day, Park Joon-geum, Kim Jun-bae, Choi Byung-mo, and Bae Hae-sun is reported be appear.[3] On the day after, Park Hyo-joo, Yoo, Kim Seung-yoon, and Shin were reportedly confirmed to appear.[4]
