Shin Seul-ki (Korean신슬기; born March 3, 1998) is a South Korean actress. She participated in the South Korean reality television series Single's Inferno in 2022 and made her acting debut in the web drama Pyramid Game in 2024.

Early life and education[edit]

Shin Seul-ki was born on March 3, 1998, in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Her father, Shin Yong-ho, is a plastic surgeon.[1] Her grandfather, Shin Seong-sik, is a painter and one of the founding members of the South Korean painting collective Mukrimhoe.[2]

She attended Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School. In 2023, Seul-ki graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in music, majoring in piano.[3][4][5]

Career[edit]

In 2020, Shin Seul-ki won Miss Chunhyang, a traditional beauty pageant in Namwon, North Jeolla Province. With her prize money, she donated 20,000 masks to Namwon.[6]

In 2021, she appeared in a music video for Kim Jae-hwan's song "Unforgettable".[7]

In 2022, she joined the second season of Netflix's reality dating show Single's Inferno.[citation needed]

In 2024, she started her acting career in TVING's psychological thriller web drama Pyramid Game. She received praise from the media for her gripping portrayal of the character Seo Do-ah.[8][9] On the talk show Radio Star, she shared that her father did not know she had joined Single's Inferno until he saw the show's promotional billboard. She also said that prior to Singles Inferno, she had received offers to join other dating programs.[10]
