Pir Bazar Rural District (Persian: دهستان پيربازار)[3] is in the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Mobarakabad.[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Pir Bazar,[6] now a city.[5]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 census, the rural district's population was 21,374 in 5,845 households.[7] There were 16,958 inhabitants in 5,163 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 16,609 in 5,542 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Pir Bazar (now a city),[5] with 5,373 people.[2]
