Phor‌ also‌ signeted‌ ‌as Phour and Phalswal is an autocratic‌ Sikh surname and feudatory title used by Dhaliwal‌ Jats of Bagri Devision[1][2], primarily recognised as a secondary habitational faction that arose among the widely dispersed "Jats of the Dhaliwal[3][4] lineage".

Its variation compatibly known as Purewal closely assimilate with overlapping fore-fathers ancestry of Paura or Pauria or Por or Phor or Paurwal and Purewal tribe of the present Jats[5].[additional citation(s) needed]
