From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Northeast Florida Regional Transportation Commission (NEFRTC) was a government agency located in the U.S. state of Florida. Established June 14, 2013, the purpose of the agency was to coordinate and advance the planning, project development and implementation of regional transportation facilities and services in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties.[1]

After adopting a regional transportation plan in 2016, the commission was sunset on November 30, 2018 as required by its establishing legislation after not securing funding to implement the plan.[2]
