Mumtaz Mustafa is a Pakistani politician who has been a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 29 February 2024.
Biography[edit]
On 26 November 2007, he quit Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and joined Pakistan Muslim League (F) (PML-F).[1]
On 31 January 2010, he was elected Vice Chairman of Punjab Bar Council for a one-year term.[2] On 20 March 2016, he was elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Punjab Bar Council for a one-year term.[3][4]
He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed independent candidate from Constituency NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan-III in the 2024 Pakistani general election.[5] He received 103,832 votes and defeated an independent candidate Hashim Jawan Bakht who secured 56,028 votes.[6]
