Mahmudabad (Persian: محمود آباد) is a village in Sin Rural District of the Central District of Borkhar County, Isfahan province, Iran.

History[edit]

After the National Census of 2006, the county was created from the division of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County into Borkhar County and Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County. Borkhar County was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Dowlatabad as its capital.[2]

Population[edit]

At the time of the 2011 census, the village's population was below the reporting threshold.[3] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 16 people in 9 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[1]
