Josh Seiter is an American television personality and Internet troll. He first rose to prominence as a contestant on the eleventh season of The Bachelorette. In 2024, Seiter garnered widespread attention after he faked a male-to-female gender transition. Five months after "transitioning" he revealed that it was a hoax to showcase "how gullible and delusional the Left is".
Career
[edit]Seiter competed on the eleventh season of The Bachelorette. He ended up failing to secure a rose, and was eliminated in the first week of the competition.
In 2023, Seiter was reported dead. However, less than 24 hours later, a statement was released to his social media pages, claiming his account was hacked.[1]
In May 2024, Seiter "came out" as a trans woman. In an interview with Page Six, Seiter claimed that he felt free to explore his gender identity following the passing of his father. However, in October of the same year, Seiter revealed that his "transition" was all a hoax. In an interview with comedian Alex Stein, Seiter claimed that he faked his transition to "expose how gullible and delusional the Left is."[1]
Personal life
[edit]Seiter was allegedly romantically involved with RuPaul's Drag Race alum Monica Beverly Hillz, but they broke up three weeks after they started dating.[citation needed]
