@Star Mississippi: I was shocked to see the above article was redirected though your closing remarks are helpful. Since my account was not connected to email though now it's, I was not alerted. As an experienced admin, I wish, you should have allowed the AfD was relisted or considering WP:NEXIST, you should have closed the AfD into 'no-consensus'. As @Pharaoh of the Wizards: indicated it is 97 year old school and there are plenty of Tamil language sources mostly offline. As @Lorstaking: indicated, I will try my best to find some sources and shift the draft article into main space.Kaytsfan (talk) 20:05, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for the delay @Kaytsfan I was offline. The history is preserved under the redirect, so if you or @Pharaoh of the Wizards finds sourcing, it can be added there and re-spun out at that time. If you believe my close was incorrect and don't want to proceed that way, you're welcome to file a Deletion Review, but I have re-read the discussion and don't see another way to close it StarMississippi15:00, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Kaytsfan If you think it's ready to survive in mainspace, you can redirect this draft to the main article. While it's not a G4, sourcing is still thin and I think it may be brought back for deletion without some further improvement and not just passing mentions. Given some of the sourcing and the URL similarity to your username, is there a connection you need to disclose here? StarMississippi22:07, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Mississippi: I couldn't find any sources other than these. I checked with the school principal, she said, when she took over, there was nothing in the school. I was born in Karampon, Kayts and brought up there till 10 years old. My late mother studied at the Karampon Little Flower Convent; in her memory only I created this article. Kayts villages are almost destroyed because the Civil War which lasted for decades and very difficult to find sources. Some pictures of abandoned houses in Kayts [1], [2].Kaytsfan (talk) 02:49, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately it sounds like it's unlikely to be notable then. You could merge it to the village where it could be mentioned. That would be the most likely way to preserve it.
That was really a notable school, I am searching sources. I visited the school a few weeks after my mother's demise and met the principal of the school; and took these inside pictures.
