A simple (simplistic?) way to perform the merge would be to replace the content of the current Gaganyaan-4 article with the content of this article (preserving that edit history) and leave a redirect here in the Draft: namespace to preserve the history of edits here. @DoubleGrazing: do the AfC tools currently support that? @Erick Soares3: does that approach appeal to you? No, the AfC script does not offer that option, it would have to be done manually AFAIK. The history merge could be done by an admin, if deemed appropriate, although I'm not sure it would necessarily work here. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:08, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is I am also telling that I made Gaganyaan-2&-3 as these will really launch and Gaganyaan-5 will be planned after Gaganyaan-4.So, I made these page. There is no need of drafting it. Abdullah1099 (talk) 02:24, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abdullah1099: we know that G-2 and G-3 will really launch, but we need more sources - as it stands now, the pages would have been sent to draft space anyway. Since Gaganyaan-5, as you say, will be planned after the Gaganyaan-4 (thus, is also WP:TOO SOON), is only speculation right now, since we don't have any sources about this specific mission. So, @SdSds, DoubleGrazing, and Abdullah1099:, we should go ahead and copy/paste the text into the main space? Gaganyaan-4 is just a skeleton anyway (with the bare bones from the draft), and can be overwritten by what we have here. Maybe the History page from the draft can be preserved (Wayback Machine, maybe?) and linked in the Discussion. We should also think what to do with Gaganyaan-2 and Gaganyaan-3 (in my view, we won't have anything substantial until after Gaganyaan-1) and Gaganyaan-5 (even if ISRO releases its long term plan, is basically Soyuz MS-27 and beyond: it will/may happen, but we don't have anything right now).
