Xelon Digital is a global independent digital distribution company. It distributes music to a number of digital service providers (DSPs) including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Beatport, Traxsource, Meta, TikTok, and more.[1]. Operating globally, Xelon Digital has specialists located in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Xelon Digital works with record labels such as Sweat It Out, Central Station, Blak Label and Resound Records. Some of the biggest active streaming artists from its catalog include RÜFÜS DU SOL, Dom Dolla, Luude, and Yolanda Be Cool[2].

History

Xelon Digital was established in 2007 in Melbourne, Australia[3]. In 2010, the company distributed ‘We No Speak Americano’ by Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP which went platinum in multiple countries[4][5]. The following year it distributed ‘Super Soaker’, a song by duo Bombs Away that also went platinum[6][7].

In 2013, Xelon Digital distributed ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ (licensed for AU/NZ), a platinum, grammy-nominated song by Dutch DJ and record producer Armin van Buuren[8]. In the same year, it also distributed the album ‘Atlas’ by artist RÜFÜS DU SOL which debuted at number 1 on the ARIA Album Charts[9][10].

Following on from that, ‘San Frandisco’ by house music producer Dom Dolla was distributed by Xelon Digital in 2019, receiving multiple awards and achieving gold certification[11][12]. Then in 2021, the company distributed Luude’s remix of Men at Work’s song ‘Down Under’ featuring Colin Hay[13].

Services

As a standard service Xelon Digital provides their labels and artists with worldwide distribution as well as access to a dedicated label manager, on platform tools (such as Spotify For Artists), Feature.fm smart links, and Labelcamp personalised analytics.

Additional services include global editorial playlist pitching, radio promotion, club promotion, social media strategy, publishing admin, sync, advance funding, and more[14]
