The untitled Days of Thunder sequel is an upcoming American sports action drama film, that serves as the sequel to Days of Thunder (1990). Tom Cruise reprises his role as Cole Trickle.

[edit]In November 2024, it was reported that Tom Cruise was interested in making a sequel to the 1990 racing film Days of Thunder. After wrapping up "Mission: Impossible 8", and already working towards a Top Gun 3 film with Paramount Pictures, the timing of which project went forward with Paramount first would depend on which script Cruise ultimately preferred.[1]
