[1]== Umair Ibn Lateef == Umair Ibn Lateef (born 25 May 1999), also known by the Kashmiri Tamilan is an Indian actor and vlogger from Kashmir, who works predominantly in Tamil films. He has made his debut with the film Amaran playing a character named Waheed Ahmed.
Early life and Career
[edit]Umair Ibn Lateef was born in Srinagar, Kashmir and had moved to Chennai in his teenage years for his undergraduate degree. He has graduated from Hindustan University and had started his own entrepreneurial venture right after graduation. He caught the eye of a casting executive while on a trip to Mahabalipuram, where he was running his small business. His background as a Kashmiri, combined with his fluency in Tamil, piqued their interest. He was then asked to audition for the role of Waheed Ahmed, leading to his casting in his debut film - Amaran.
