Tianna Teisar (born 24 September 2005) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a forward for Women's Championship club Bristol City and has represented Wales from under-17 youth level.

Early life

Teisar is from Llangynwyd, Wales, and attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg secondary school in the borough of Bridgend.[3]

Club career

In August 2022, as a substitute, Teisar made her debut for the club against Blackburn Rovers. In September 2023, Teisar signed a professional contract with Bristol City, close to her 18th birthday.[4]

In January 2024 Teisar went out on loan to National League South side Gwalia United for the remainder of the 2023–24 season.[5]

International career

On 22 October 2021, Teisar featured as the number 10 for the Wales under-17s in 2022 UEFA Under-17 Championship qualification, where they were beaten 2–0 by Italy.[6][7]

In February 2024, Teisar received her first all up to the Wales national team squad for a friendly international fixture against Republic of Ireland at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.[8][9]

In November 2024, she was again called up to squad for the second round of Euro 2025 qualifying play-offs, facing a double header of matches against the Republic of Ireland.[10][11]

Personal life

In May 2024, Bridgend County Borough councillor, Martyn Jones, described Tianna as a role model for students of her secondary school in the village of Llangynwyd.[3]
