The Backstreet is a 2024 documentary about the life and legacy of the famous London gay bar The Backstreet. Directed by Romain Beck, the film explores the intimate and emotional stories over four decades. From the turmoil of the Aids epidemic, right through to the personal stories of the patrons and owners of the bar.
The film had it's World premiere on 12th June 2024 at the Sheffield Docfest.
