Tayo Aduloju is a Strategist, who is currently the CEO of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).[1] Before becoming CEO, he was the Chief Operations Officer and Senior Fellow, Economic Policy, Strategy, and Competitiveness at the NESG.[1][2]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Oluwatayo David Aduloju was born in Apapa, Lagos State, Nigeria, into the family of Major-General Alfred Olaseinde Aduloju and Ojis Aduloju..[3] He attended Command Children Schools in Yaba, Kaduna, and Apapa, following his father's military postings[3]. He later completed his secondary education at Command Secondary School in Ipaja, Lagos, where he obtained his secondary school certificate. Aduloju pursued higher education at the International Bible College and Seminary, earning a Bachelor of Theology (BTh) with a focus on Systematic Theology and Classical Studies[3]
Dr. Tayo Aduloju is an alumnus of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, the University of Oxford, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[1][3]. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Economic Policy and Public Administration and has received the 2022 Citizens Award for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences from Walden University[1]. Dr. Aduloju is also a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and holds an Executive Certificate in Economic Development from the Harvard Kennedy School[1][3]
Career
[edit]Aduloju was appointed Chief Operations Officer and Senior Fellow, Economic Policy, Strategy, and Competitiveness at the NESG in 2018[2]. The Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG, in 2024 announced the appointment of Dr Tayo Aduloju as the new Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the NESG, effective from the 1st of January, 2024.[4][5]
