SuperSKU is a free and open source (FLOSS Point of sale Software developed by Three Avocados Development. The Software was initially released on January 16, 2024 and is scripted in Python (programming language). The software uses the MIT License. SuperSKU uses the MIT License, and is available in English, And its current [stable] Release is v1.2.1-Beta. It is available in 1 language, English, and has a size of 143 KB. It currently uses the Tkinter python module to implement a GUI[1], Specifically the Tk GUI Toolkit.[2]

Unusable GUI

The software has been deemed Incompatible with Linux distributions that are using Wayland Desktop Protocol, due to a issue with the GUI toolkit the software is using (Tkinter). .[1] The developer can not fix this issue, and as he is not a contributor of the wayland project..[1]

  • Auto-Update
  • Card reader support
  • Receipt printer support [1]
