Tanner (born May 3, 1996), also known as SmallAnt or Smant (formerly known as SmallAnt1) is a Canadian YouTuber and Twitch streamer, former Super Mario Odyssey speedrunner.[1] He is most notable for his gaming videos that revolve around him doing various challenges.[2] Videos of his have been featured in Polygon,[3] GamesRadar+[4] and Dot Esports.[5]

He is a very good singer, however he is best known for singing Fly Me to the Moon as seen in this video SmallAnt is never singing again However as a result of his fanbase constantly bringing it up he has not sung since.

2016–2017 - Little Big Planet 3

In 2016, Tanner started streaming on Twitch, under the alias SmallAnt1. During this time, he focused on Level Creation in the game Little Big Planet 3, a puzzle platform game where users can create their own levels in a Sandbox like environment. During this time, Tanner had numerous levels get "Team Picked", a process in which the developers of the game pick certain games based on a certain criteria.

In May 2023, Tanner completed a speedrun of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in anticipation for its sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, where he completed the game 100% in 20 hours.[6]

World Records

SmallAnt most famous world record is probably him sharpening 10 pencils in 2 minutes and 11 seconds, as seen in this video; How I became the fastest pencil sharpener in the world He had also used a loophole to get under a hour and the world record in Super Mario Odyssey where he finally dabbed because, after he made a bet saying he would dab if he got sub hour in Super Mario Odyssey.
