Sketchware is a discontinued Android app development suite created in 2016 by Munseok Oh, Kim Ki-han, and Sung Woo Park. Sketchware enveloped a visual development environment, allowing users to see their app as drag-and-drop modules were added to it. Sketchware also encorporates third-party services, such as Google AdSense and Firebase. Projects can be exported to installable files, Java source code, or XML.

Sketchware is a mobile application development environment created by Munseok Oh and Kim Ki-han. Munseok Oh, a Full-stack developer and CTO at Sketchware, co-created the platform, while Kim Ki-han, an entrepreneur known for creating the first LTE Network Analytics Management System, also contributed to its development. Sung Woo Park, a Front-end Developer and UI/UX Engineer, played a key role in the platform's design and user experience.

[edit]Created on July 1, 2016, in Seoul, South Korea, Munseok Oh, Kim Ki-han, and Sung Woo Park, the team consisted of programmers Munseok and Kim Ki-han, complemented by Sung Woo Park as the UI designer. The company has successfully secured funding from Strong Ventures, with the first round of funding taking place on January 31, 2017, followed by their latest funding on July 1, 2017.
Downfall
[edit]On August 19, 2018, Sketchware closed the competition support due to a lack of funds to continue. On December 14, 2018, the service sent in fake or illegal applications, which was out of the 3,000 to 4,000 submissions received. On April 1, 2021, Sketchware was discontinued and removed from the Google Play Store, and the Private Company went out of business.
