Sandro Heleno da Veiga Lopes (born 1996) is a Cape Verdean artist.[1]

Sandro Lopes was born in Praia on the island of Santiago. Inspired by his brother Carlos Lopes, he began exploring visual art in 2013. After a few years painting as a hobby, he participated in his first group exhibition, "Kabu Verdi Contemporâneo", in 2018, which marked the start of his professional artistic career. Lopes studied Multimedia and Design degree at the University of Cape Verde. He has also completed specialized courses in mural art techniques and cultural management.

In addition to painting and sculpture, Lopes is a founder of Kriol Style[2], a Cape Verdean fashion brand focused on sustainability and cultural identity. His art is recognized for its vibrant colors, abstract themes, and connection to Cape Verdean traditions.

Since 2018, Lopes has exhibited his work in national and international venues, including Praia, Angola, Portugal, United States, and Spain. His first solo exhibition, "Reflex D’nha Alma[3]" (2021), explored themes of personal reflection and cultural identity, establishing his position as a prominent figure in Cape Verdean contemporary art.
