The Ranjha family is a Punjabi Muslim Political family part of the Ranjha Punjabi clan of Jats. The Ranjha family is amonst the most influential landowner Political families in the Punjab and its members have played an influential role in Punjabi politics since the late 1890s.

Mainly Ranjha family had played an influential role in Politics from the Mandi Bahauddin District[1],Sargodha District[2], and Gujrat District. Ranjha family is located into four main places including Ranjha family from Kot Sher Muhammad, Kot Shahnawaz, Badarana,and Haveli Mian Sher Ali. Ranjha family has a great hold on the Kirana Bar and Kadhi Bar from both Mandi Bahauddin and Sargodha District. Ranjha family own about 12,000 Acres of Land.

Ranjha Family from Kot Sher Muhammad

Ranjha family from Kot Sher Muhammad[3][4][5] is the elite aristocrat family among four groups and largest landowner family of Mandi Bahauddin District,Most of their family members got education from (Aitchison).This family was headed by Chaudhary Fazal Elahi Ranjha a prominent Feudal Lord who was also honoured with the entitlement of Zaildar and was also rewarded with Jagir in Faisalabad. His both sons played a great influential role in Politics and Bureaucracy his elder son Chaudhary Nazir Hussain Ranjha was a prominent bureaucrat he served as Attorney General high court and later on he was appionted as Home Secretary of Undivided Punjab Province (British India).After his retirement Chaudhary Nazir Hussain Ranjha[6], was elected as MLA Punjab Legislative Assembly for two consecutive terms from (Gujrat-West-Muhammadan).His Younger son Chaudhary Irshad Ullah Ranjha[7], was elected as MLA Punjab Legislative Assembly for two consecutive terms from( Gujrat-XI-Muslim).Chaudhary Irshad Ullah Ranjha's both sons were also elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.His younger son Chaudhry Ikramullah Ranjha was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for two terms and also served as Special Advisor to Chief Minister and his son Fazal Ahmed Ranjha is a Pakistani politician who has been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since 2002.[8][9] and also served as Member for Standing committee on Labour and Human resources.

Chaudhary Irshad Ullah Ranjha's Elder son Chaudhary Ehsan Ullah Ranjha remained Member of district council from Mandi Bahauddin District. His grandson Chaudhary Khurram Ehsan Ranjha remained District Nazim Mandi Bahauddin and has a great influence in Mandi Bahauddin District and local government politics. Chaudhary Khurram Ehsan Ranjha's both Paternal uncles Altaf Ahmad Ranjha[10] and Khalid Mahmood Ranjha[11][12] remained the Members Provincial Assembly of the Punjab Chaudhary also served as District and Session Judge[13] and currently he is serving as Provincial Parlimentary secretary for Law and Parlimentary Affairs and his cousin (imtiaz ahmed ranjha) remained the Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and is a senior member of (PMLQ). Moreover Ranjha Family from Kot Sher Muhammad were elected for eleven terms as the Member of parliament.

Ranjha Family from Kot Shahnawaz

Ranjha family from Kot Shahnawaz[14][15] was headed by Chaudhry Shahnawaz Ranjha a Prominent Politician and Landowner from Sargodha District. He remained the Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League (N)for two terms.He is a close political companion of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.His son Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha[16]https://www.dawn.com/news/1015559/newspaper/column, remained MNA Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan for two consecutive terms and also served as Federal Minister for State and Parlimentary Affairs[17] in Shahid Khaqan Abbasi tenure. His Paternal uncle Chaudhary Nazir Ahmed Ranjha[18] remained the Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and also served as District Chairman from Sargodha District. Moreover Ranjha family from Kot Shahnawaz were elected for five terms as the Member of parliament.

Ranjha Family from Badrana

Ranjha family from Badar Ranjha[19][20] was headed by Chaudhary Amaan Ullah Badrana a prominent Feudal Lord of Sargodha District. He was a very close Political Companion of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and his brother Liaqat Hayat Badrana[21] was a great influential political figure who remained MNA Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Pakistan People's Party. Chaudhary Liaqat Hayat Badrana,brother in law[22] Chaudhary Abdullah Yousaf Warrich[23][24].remained Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.He was honoured with the entitle 'King of Kadhi' by the people of his district due to his family's nobel background.Moreover Ranjha family from Badrana were elected for two terms as the Member of parliament.

Ranjha Family from Haveli Mian Sher Ali

Ranjha family from Haveli Mian Sher Ali[25] [26]was headed by Mian Manazir Hussain Ranjha a prominent Landlord and a senior politician of Sargodha District. He remained the Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for five consecutive terms[27] from the party Pakistan Muslim League (N). Mian Manazir Hussain Ranjha has also served as Deaputy Speaker[28] Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and remained Provincial Minister of the Punjab. His brother Mian Sultan Ali Ranjha[29] is very active in Local government politics and remained Tehsil Nazim from Sargodha District. His Maternal uncle Khalid Ranjha remained Senator of Pakistan and remained Federal Minister for Law and Justice division[30].

Moreover Ranjha family from Haveli Mian Sher Ali were elected for seven terms as the Member of parliament.
