Radio Orange is a private FM radio station based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Established in 2016[1], it is among the few FM stations serving the Vidarbha region, with a focus on local programming.

History

Radio Orange launched in 2016, initially broadcasting from stations in Akola and Bilaspur on the 91.9 FM frequency. In 2018, it expanded by acquiring a third station in Sangli, which broadcasts on 93.5 FM. The network aims to support local talent and regional content within its programming. According to a report Radio Orange had further expanded its reach to operate 13 stations across eight states[2], increasing its accessibility and audience reach in multiple regions.

In 2023, Radio Orange was mentioned in media reports as one of the companies in the running, along with Radio Mirchi, to acquire Big FM[4], a move that could significantly impact the Indian radio landscape.
