Submission declined on 29 August 2024 by Robert McClenon (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of films). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Robert McClenon 18 days ago. |

On May 1, 2023, Netflix announced the season, which is based on the murder case of the Menéndez brothers.[3] On June 29, 2023, Deadline reported that Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez were cast as Lyle and Erik Menéndez respectively.[4] On January 15, 2024, it was reported that Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny had joined the cast as José Menéndez and Kitty Menéndez respectively.[5] That same day, Nathan Lane was cast as Dominick Dunne.[6] On February 1, 2024, Ari Graynor joined as Leslie Abramson.[7] Leslie Grossman was added that same month as Judalon Smyth.[8] Additionally, Julian and Thomas Newman composed the original score.[9]
