Mohammad Arif (born January 30, 1969, Lahore) is a Pakistani Entrepreneur, social, and political figure in America. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Peace and Freedom Party (The Peace and Freedom Party (PFP) is a left-wing political party in the California United States, founded in 1967. It emerged during the civil rights and anti-war movements of the 1960s and has historically focused on promoting social and economic justice, civil rights, anti-imperialism, and environmental sustainability) and has been advocating for immigrant rights within the party's Southern California. He is married and has four children raised in California.
Education
[edit]Mohammad Arif has a diverse educational background. He attended Abraham Lincoln Law College and obtained a Bachelor's degree from Hailey College of Commerce. He also achieved a Master's degree in Economics from Punjab University in Pakistan. This educational foundation has equipped him with a broad range of knowledge and skills that complement his professional endeavors in business management, legal practice, and his current pursuit as a candidate for the California State Senate District 16.
Professional experience
[edit]Mohammad Arif has been serving as the President/CEO of ARifCO, Inc. since December 2015, overseeing operations based in Bakersfield, California. At the same time, he is involved in political activities as a candidate for the California State Senate District 16, representing Kern, Kings, Tulare, and Fresno Counties. Before taking on these roles, Arif was actively involved as an Executive Manager in law offices across Southern California since January 2013. Additionally, he holds the position of President at Cal Pak USA, Inc. With over eight years of executive leadership and management experience, Mohammad Arif demonstrates his dedication to both business and public service endeavors.
Religious, Civic, and other Memberships
[edit]Mohammad Arif is actively involved in various organizations, both religious and civic. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Peace and Freedom Party and has been advocating for immigrant rights within the party's Southern California chapter. In the past, he has been involved with organizing for Pakistan's People Party and founding Umma4Peace, an organization based on the term "Ummah" referring to the Muslim community. He also held the position of President at Cal Pak USA, Incorporated from 2010 to 2013, showing involvement with Pakistani-American community organizations. Furthermore, he served as the secretary of treasury during Howard Johnson's California Senate campaign and was elected as an executive member of the Kern County Central Committee of the Peace and Freedom Party. Mohammad Arif has extensive experience as an organizer and political worker.
