[2]In August 2020, his inaugural body of work was released, propelling him into the spotlight. Within a short span, Marizu's music featured on major Afro gospel channels in Europe, amassing over 26 million streams/views and cultivating a fan base exceeding 22,000 passionate God and music enthusiasts. Collaborating with renowned artists such as MOBO award winner CalledOut Music and Premier Gospel Award winner Limoblaze, Marizu's music resonates with believers, especially the youth, and has reached various parts of the world.
