Julia C. Patrick is an American entrepreneur, publisher, and community leader known for her contributions to the media landscape and philanthropic endeavors. She is recognized as the founder and original publisher of Frontdoors, a community publication established in the fall of 2002. Throughout her career, Patrick has been involved in various publishing ventures and has made significant contributions to charitable causes and community organizations.

in 2002, a community publication aimed at highlighting local stories and events. Over the years, she expanded her publishing portfolio to include The Arts and Crafts Chronicle, The Wedding Chronicle, Food & Flourish, and Great Wine News. Under her leadership, Patrick's publication won the Association Best Feature Award[2]
During her tenure as a publisher, Patrick featured numerous luminaries on the covers of her publications, including notable figures such as Former Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, broadcaster Hugh Downs, Mayor Kate Gallego, and philanthropist Cindy Hensley McCain.
In 2017, sold Frontdoors[3]., marking the conclusion of her tenure as the publication's original publisher. The transaction was noted for its undisclosed amount.

She has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to organizations such as the Sojourner Center Domestic Violence Shelter, where she served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, receiving the Outstanding Contribution Award in 2006.
Patrick's commitment to community service[4] extended to her involvement with the Arizona Opera, where she served as a Trustee from 2005 to 2015. She was recognized as one of the Top 25 Business Women of the Year by the Phoenix Business Journal in 2009.
In 2009, Patrick was appointed to the Christmas Tree Steering Committee by the United States Forest Service. She played a role in coordinating the transportation of the Christmas tree from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in Arizona to the nation's capital.
Patrick's dedication to philanthropy was recognized with the Angela Hallier Change Agent Award[5]. in 2015, presented by the Vanguard Awards in acknowledgment of her fundraising efforts on behalf of the Sojourner Center Domestic Violence Shelter.

Patrick's commitment to addressing issues of equity and representation in media was highlighted through her participation as a panelist in discussions such as "Assessing Phoenix Media in Black and White" hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
In 2014, Patrick launched[6] the American Nonprofit Academy. The academy aimed to provide classes and resources for nonprofits seeking to enhance their impact and effectiveness.
