Janine Teo (born 15 October 1981) is Singaporean entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solve Education, an education technology not-for-profit.[1][2]

She is the first Asian to receive the International Intellectual Benefits to Society Award by Mensa International.[3][4]

Early life & Education

Teo was born and raised in Singapore. She pursued her higher education at the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, earning a Computer Engineering degree.[5]

Career

Janine co-founded Solve Education in 2015. Currently she serves in strategic planning, fundraising, and the oversight of educational program implementation across Asia and Africa.[6][7]

In 2017 she has been appointed as Non-Executive Director at Beary Good Ventures, a hospitality group focused on budget travel. Simultaneously, Janine was a member of the Young Advisory Board of the YCAB Foundation, which is ranked #35 in the world's top 500 NGOs by NGO Advisors. Janine served as a High-level Advisor for Digital Technology for Development at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for 3 years starting from 2019.[8]
