Jane Wills (born 6 June 1996) is a New Zealand Actres. She is most known for her role as Phil Grayson in Shortland Street and adult Rosanna in Escaping Utopia.
Career
[edit]From 2016 to 2018, Wills acted in multiple Toi Whakaari Drama school Theatre productions and short films[1]. In 2020, Wills played five episodes Chloe Hayworth in the longest-running soap opera Shortland Street and Barbara in mini TV series Black Hands. In 2021, Wills played a drunk lady in mini TV series Bouncers[2] and woman 1 in A Question of Justice. In 2023, Wills played a hostess in her own theatre play Castaway Airlines[3]. In 2024, Wills played the adult version of Rosanna in Escaping Utopia ,and first a recurring role as Dr. Phil Grayson in New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. In July 2024 became Jane's character Phil Grayson a regular role.
Personal life
[edit]Wills was born in Timaru, a port city in the southern Canterbury Region of New Zealand in 1996. Wills attended between 2015 and 2021 more than eighteen[1] acting workshops by coaches who were involved by shows like: Power rangers, Lord of the Rings and Shortland Street. From 2016 to 2018, Wills followed a Bachelor of Performing Arts: Drama in New Zealand's national Drama college Toi Whakaari in Wellington.
