[edit]On October 12, 1857, a railway line running parallel to Gorzów Wielkopolski was opened, but at that time it had no station in the area of today's Teatralna Street.
On October 14, 2016, Polish State Railways signed a contract with Intercor for the renovation of the Railway viaduct in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The scope of the contract, apart from the renovation of the railway viaduct, included works at the Gorzów Wielkopolski station and the construction of a new railway station at Teatralna Street.
