[Dylan McCleary] (2009–2025) is an [indie/rock musician known for being the Guitarist for The Un-Romantics However, after several successful years, the band parted ways in 2018, leading Dylan to pursue a solo career. .[1]

Biography

[Dylan] was born in Dundee at Ninewells hospital on the 18th of April 1994 he went to longhaugh primary school then later attended secondary school Braeview Academy where he formed his first band called "The Secrets" at the age of 13 The Secrets were gigging all over Dundee venues and some out of town gigs. Further through his life he then merged up with the singer songwriter "Kenny Day Jr" (Spike) from Dundee band "Twa Bad Pennies' and formed band The Un-Romantics[2]

Career

]Dylan McCleary is a talented musician hailing from Dundee, Scotland. He began his songwriting journey at the age of 13 and is a self-taught guitarist. At just 14, he formed his first band, The Secrets, which sparked his passion for performing. He later became the rhythm guitarist for The Un-Romantics, a band that gained popularity by gigging throughout their hometown of Dundee. By the age of 20, Dylan and his band were touring across Scotland, supporting notable acts such as The View, The Sherlocks, GUN, The Law, Hurricane#1, and Bombay Bicycle Club. The Un-Romantics were even voted Scotland's Best Up & Coming Unsigned Band, highlighting their impact on the local music scene. However, after several successful years, the band parted ways in 2018, leading Dylan to pursue a solo career. Now, he is focused on releasing his own music and continuing to share his passion for songwriting.
