Nelson Ofonmbuk Okon is popularly known as Dela Naija is from middim waterside, Abak local government in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.He was born 25th march 2000.
FAMILY BACKGROUND
His father goes by the name Ofonmbuk Okon Akpan and mother Grace Ofonmbuk Okon, Dela Naija is from a response family that keeps God, education and discipline as a priority. Dad and mom joins forces to make sure children does not depart from the right path, mum is a stylist while dad is an armed force personnel. He has two siblings by names are Nneka and Wisdom.
EDUCATIONAL LIFE
Dela Naija was a pupil in Goodnews community school primary school and later attended Nigerian Christian secondary school for his which he got his WACE and NECO to further his education at College of Education Afaha Nsit but didn't complete his years in campus due to the fact that the school standards were not upto his expectations then he took another jamb to further his studies in the university of Uyo and got a BSC in social studies education graduating with a second class honour (upper division).
RELIGIOUS LIFE
Dela Naija was brought up in a Christian family, a member of church of Christ from birth and a devoted member of the church.
MUSIC LIFE
He started his music journey at the age of 19 in the city of Uyo ,Akwa ibom state and had first hit track at age of 23.He is also known as De optimum and his genre of music is Amapiano and dancehall, currently one of the top artist in Akwa Ibom state.
