Daniel Mora Chavez is Costa Rican comic book artist who has primarily worked for DC and Boom! Studios, but has also contributed work to Marvel, IDW, and Image Comics.[1] Popverse referred to him as "arguably the most popular artist in modern superhero comics",[2] and Multiverse of Color claimed him as "kind of the fandom's Jesus".[3]
Personal life and education
[edit]Mora was born June 5, 1986, in San José, Costa Rica. He studied art at the University of Costa Rica.[4] He cites one of his biggest inspirations to be American comic artist Bruce Timm, known for the animated body of work referred to by fans as the 'Timmverse'.[5] Additionally, his favorite Power Ranger is Zack.[6]
